Forge
7/27/2023 – Added Imperial equipment, Parthian equipment, & Forge Master Certificate.
In the forge, the general’s equipment can be crafted. In order to craft strong equipment, it is necessary to raise the level of the forge.
Note that the crafting of Civilization Equipment is done at Wonder, not at the forge. There is no need to raise the level of the forge. There is also no need to unlock Wonder. However, keep level 33 is required.
Materials and Scrolls are needed to craft the equipment.
It can be built at keep level 7.
Note that the level of the watchtower must also be raised in order for the forge to be at level 26 or higher.
Menu (Availability during upgrade, Unlock conditions)
- Craft
- Cannot be selected during a forge upgrade.
- Equipment Upgrade
- Upgrade crafted dragon equipment to Ares equipment.
- Upgrade crafted Ares & Achaemenidae equipment to Imperial & Parthian equipment.
- Note: Equipment must be removed from the general to be upgraded.
- Unlocked at Forge Lv 30.
- Materials
- Allows you to compose and disassemble materials. (The equipment category on the item screen will be displayed. Just that.)
- Duty
- Unlocked at Forge Lv28.
Milestones
Below are the main milestones.
- Lv5: Purple equipment
- Lv9: Orange equipment
- Lv13: Gold: Champion’s equipment
- Lv17: Gold: General’s equipment
- Lv21: Gold: King’s equipment
- Lv27: Red: Dragon equipment, Duty officer equipment (except for Keep)
- Lv28: Duty Officer
- Lv30: Red: Ares equipment / Imperial equipment
- Lv33: Red: Achaemenidae equipment / Parthian equipment / Duty officer equipment (Keep)
Of particular importance are
- Lv13: Champion’s equipment
- Advantageous for resource gathering. Equipping the main general for gathering with a set of 4 champion equipment provides an additional resource bonus after gathering. (Details: How to get Resources Efficiently (Items, Gathering, Production))
- Lv21: King’s equipment
- Advantageous for double item drop (Fearless King’s Ring). Other rings of other ranks also have “double items drop rate” increases, but the king’s ring is the most cost-effective.
- Lv33: Achaemenidae equipment
- Advantageous for debuffs. k33 and later battles will be overwhelmingly disadvantageous unless all mayors of subordinate cities are equipped with a set of 6 Achaemenidae. (Details: Red Equipment Combination List (Which Should You Make?))

Note: “Construction Time” depends on the “ConstructionSpeed”. The following construction times and speeds are examples, most of which are based on my own play. Note that construction speed can be checked in the “Administration” section of the monarch’s detail screen.

How to speed up crafting
How to increase crafting speed buff
By increasing the equipment crafting speed buff, the crafting time displayed before crafting can be reduced in advance.
You can check how many buffs you have in your “Crafting Speed” in the “Administration” category of the Monarch Detail screen.
Research – The “Blacksmith” in the “Defense” category of the Academy should be advanced. (Requires Academy Lv14.) Also, to speed up that research, you should also prioritize “Typography” and “Super Typography” in the “Advancement” category.
Monarch Gear – When upgrading buildings, equip the “Agile Crown” before starting construction (see this article for details). For more information on how to quickly raise the level of monarch gear, please click here.
Duty Officer – When upgrading a crafting, set duty officer in the forge before starting craft (see this article for more details). Anybody can be a duty officer. See this article for more information on how much a general needs to be trained.
How to get speed-up items
Speed-up items allow you to complete the equipment you are crafting faster.
The main way to get a lot of speed-up items quickly is to kill a lot of bosses. For other details, see the following article.
How to get materials
A good way to get a lot of materials quickly is to defeat a lot of Vikings. However, you cannot earn much by just defeating them solo. It is better to kill as many alliance members’ Vikings in a rally as possible.

Other ways are: Relic chamber, Consuming return event, production in Research factory, production in Subordinate cities, and Limited time promotion in billing, etc.

Mainly for players of keep level 27 and above. About Dragon Equipment, Ares Equipment, Achaemenidae Equipment, and Civilization Equipment.
Duty Officer
Unlocked at forge Lv28.
Assigning a duty officer to a forge increases Craft speed.
You can put any general to duty officer if you just want to get this duty officer buff.
Ideally, Ono no Imoko. He has skill related to the forge, and also increasing Craft speed, etc. (How to get)
To make a general your duty officer, you need to make that general somewhat stronger.

It would be useful to explain ‘disassemble’. There are a lot of equipment items in my inventory. I don’t see a compose for them – what to do with them all?
Is there any point in having the forge above level 34?
Are there any such things that make it easier to get a good percentage when refining?
