Military Academy
The Military Academy allows for research that is not available at the Academy, mainly to increase battle-oriented buffs and debuffs.
The higher the level of the Military Academy, the more research can be done.
Unlike research at the Academy, research at the Military Academy requires Tactic Scroll and Gold. Research Stone is not needed for now.
Construction becomes possible at Keep level 36.
To raise the level of the Keep to 37, the Military Academy must be built (level 1) first.
Menu (Availability during upgrade, Unlock conditions)
There are no menus that need to be unlocked. All available from the beginning.
- Military Research
- Mainly battle-oriented research can be done.
- Cannot be used during the upgrade. (You can select the menu, but you cannot start a new research.)
- Duty
- Generals who meet the requirements for appointment can be assigned.

Note: “Construction Time” depends on the “ConstructionSpeed”. The following construction times and speeds are examples, most of which are based on my own play. Note that construction speed can be checked in the “Administration” section of the monarch’s detail screen.

Research Cost List (amount of Tactic scroll & Gold required)
Total number of tactic scroll and gold required to complete each level of research at the Military Academy.
The cost of military academy 5 is very high, and 6 and beyond are cheaper.
Therefore, it is also a good idea to keep the research in 5 to a minimum and move on to 6 first.

Duty Officer
It is unlocked when the military academy is set to lv1.
Assigning a duty officer to a Military Academy increases Research speed.
It will increase the speed of research at “Academy” too. Not only at “Military Academy”.
You can put any general to duty officer if you just want to get this duty officer buff.
Ideally, Justinian. In addition, research speed and other factors will be increased. (How to get)
To make a general your duty officer, you need to make that general somewhat stronger.

How to speed up Research
How to increase research speed buff
Increasing the research speed buff can reduce the time spent on research in advance.
You can check how many buffs you have in your “Research Speed” in the “Administration” category of the Monarch Detail screen.
Research – “Typography (Up to +70%)” and “Super Typography (Up to +100%)” in the “Advancement” category of the Academy should be advanced.
Monarch Gear – Equip the “Intellect Crown” before starting research (see this article for details). For more information on how to quickly raise the level of monarch gear, please click here.
Duty Officer – When researching, set up 2 duty officers, one at “Academy” and the other at “Military Academy”, before starting the research. At “Military Acedemy”, any general can be a duty officer. At “Academy”, any general can be a duty officer, but ideally, it should be either Eulji Mundeok or Hammurabi. They have skills and specialties related to research. Speed-up items allow you to complete the equipment you are crafting faster.
