What does “Defense” even mean?
To burn a player’s castle, it is not enough to wipe out all of his troops; you must reduce the HP of the walls to zero.
This is used when calculating the damage to the walls.
The formula is almost the same as for attacks on monsters. (The formula is in the following article).

However, as a practical matter, in most cases, the HP of the walls will be reduced to zero at the same time as the troops are annihilated, so it is not necessary to place too much importance on it.
The “end condition of PVP (determining defeat in defense)” is open to debate.
That’s because it’s not “when all troops are annihilated” or “when the HP of the walls is reduced to zero.”
Even if the castle is burning, the walls’ HP remains, and when it is reduced to zero it is not a defeat, but rather the wall is forced to move to a random location.
It is also possible to lose by attacking a ghosting castle.
This means that there is an end condition (method of determining victory or defeat) that is not explained in the game.
Is there any benefits in upgrading the wall such as buffs? Should a k40 stay at walls 39 and focus on other buildings ?
