Imperial / Parthian Equipment Guide

Imperial and Parthian equipment strength, how to make, cost, requirements, recommended equipment, list of specs, and comparison with Ares & Achaemenidae.

Strength of Imperial & Parthian Equipment

Ares & Achaemenidae < Imperial & Parthian < Civilization Equipment

However, it is only a little better than Ares & Achaemenidae, and much inferior to Civilization Equipment.

There is almost no difference in strength between the Imperial & Parthian equipment.

Compared to Ares & Achaemenidae equipment, the buff items of each piece of equipment remain the same, but the buff values are only a few percent better (3-8%). (attack, defense, HP, march size, march speed, troop load).

However, Siege Machine Range remains the same.

Also, the upper limit of refinement remains the same. (e.g., the upper limit of refinement for attack remains 25%)

How can I craft it?

Upgrade from Ares and Achaemenidae equipment.

  • Ares -> Imperial equipment
  • Achaemenidae -> Parthian equipment

Upgrades are done at Forge.

Forge level 30 is required. (In addition, there are construction and research requirements depending on the equipment (details described later).

(Achaemenidae can only be crafted at forge lvl 33, so upgrading to Parthian requires a forge lvl 33 in effect).

Note: Upgrading cannot be done with the equipment attached. It is necessary to remove it once.

Refinements done during Ares & Achaemenidae, what happens to them?

It will be taken over.

The maximum refinement limit remains the same, so there is no need to redo it.

Upgrade costs and requirements

The following are required per piece of equipment.

Perhaps because Ares is more expensive than Achaemenede (800 badges + 30M gold), the cost of Achaemenede to Partian is higher than Ares to Imperial (need more Forge Master Certificate).

Which one is recommended to craft?

Basically the same idea as Ares & Achaemenidae

Since the buff items of the Imperial and Parthian equipment are the same as those of Ares Achaemenide equipment, which one should be made and which combination is better is no different from that of Ares Achaemenide equipment.

Please refer to the following article.

Red Equipment Combination List (Which Should You Make?)

Should the attacker’s equipment be prioritized or the mayor’s?

One criterion for this would be how much civilization equipment is available.

It depends on things, but for each of the 4 buff/debuff items of each piece of equipment, most buffs are about 3% better, and most debuffs are about 7% better.

In other words, upgrading the equipment for attackers and defenders from Ares & Achaemenedae to Imperial & Parthian will not dramatically increase the value of the buffs.

However, if all 6 Achemenidae equipment of all mayors were made Parthian equipment, the debuffs would be hundreds of percent better in total. (albeit a rather daunting task).

If you cannot get any civilization equipment at all for the time being, you can equip your attackers and defenders with Imperial & Parthian equipment.

If you can get a good amount of civilization equipment, you may prioritize getting a full set of Parthians for the Mayor rather than Attackers and Defenders.

I am always looking for reference. Regarding the set-buffs of Ares and Imperial equipment, both have a buff of increased attack (15% and 18%) as a set of two pieces. If I equip 2 pieces each of Ares and Imperial, will I get the total of both buffs (33%)?
I currently have an archer attacker with 4 Ares equipment and am considering upgrading to an Imperial. If I can get 2-set-buffs for both, would it be a good idea to upgrade 2 of them, including the bow, from Ares to Imperial?

There are as many answers as there are people.
You should follow the path you believe in.

> will I get the total of both buffs (33%)?

Yes. However, this is only for marching, so it is not valid for reinforcements to allied keep, etc.
So, if you are only concerned about the attack when marching, I think that two each of Ares and Imperial is better.
If you do not know what “when marching” means, please refer to the following.
Buff / Debuff – Basic Guide

I’ve learned a lot and am truly grateful.
I understand from the article that refinements are carried over when upgrading equipment, but do stars carry over?
I would appreciate any advice.

Buff growth is very small, but at least it’s cheap. I expect most F2P players get their main general red equipment upgraded to Imperial or Parthian very fast. Upgrading the equipment of subordinate city mayors could probably take a long time. I recommend to start upgrading Ares equipment first, because it’s the fastest cheapest update requiring only 25 certificates. F2P player should get a 100 free certificates per month which is sufficient for 4 Ares pieces.

困った

I updated to imperial bow and parthian boots for some reason and my attack buff and hp dropped 11 percent each for some reason.

Do you mean that the buff of the refinement you did during the Ares/Achaemenide was lowered?
In my case it didn’t go down, so it might be a glitch….
Maybe we should take a screenshot before refining….

Maybe, but does it feel like the buffs for the set equipment have gone down?

Since materials are precious, we have to take into account even the set buffs (debuffs) while we can’t make them in bulk. Otherwise, I’m afraid the buffs will be lowered as a whole. 😂
